As we continue to strengthen our product organization and invest in the next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Merchandising to join our Miami headquarters.

Position Overview

The Head of Merchandising will lead the evolution of merchandising capabilities across swimwear and resortwear, helping to establish a more sophisticated, data-informed, and scalable product organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assortment Strategy

  • Develop seasonal assortment strategies that optimize category mix, style counts, color architecture, and inventory productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen core businesses while supporting the continued expansion of resortwear and lifestyle categories.
  • Partner closely with design teams to translate creative concepts into commercially successful assortments.
  • Establish a disciplined merchandising approach that balances creativity, customer demand, and financial performance.

Merchandise Planning & Product Performance

  • Lead assortment planning, seasonal buys, replenishment opportunities, and SKU productivity initiatives.
  • Analyze sell-through, revenue per SKU, unit productivity, markdown performance, and customer demand patterns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product productivity and category performance across channels.
  • Develop hindsight processes and seasonal performance reviews to support continuous improvement.

Pricing & Category Development

  • Own pricing architecture and support initiatives aimed at improving margins and long-term profitability.
  • Develop category strategies that support future growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Ecommerce, Marketing, and Planning teams to ensure alignment across all channels.
  • Support initiatives aimed at expanding resortwear and lifestyle categories.

Innovation, Systems & Process

  • Help implement tools, systems, and workflows that contribute to a more scalable product organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and enhance Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities and digital product development tools.
  • Leverage data, consumer insights, and emerging AI-powered technologies to improve forecasting, assortment decisions, pricing analysis, and merchandising effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the long-term evolution of merchandising capabilities, processes, and future team development.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 10–15 years of progressive merchandising experience within premium women’s apparel, contemporary fashion, swimwear, resortwear, or luxury categories.
  • Demonstrated success managing assortments, category strategies, pricing initiatives, and product productivity.
  • Demonstrated success contributing to initiatives that increased sell-through, improved gross margins, and enhanced category productivity.
  • Experience supporting category expansion efforts, particularly within resortwear, lifestyle, or adjacent product categories, is highly desirable.
  • Experience participating in merchandising transformations, organizational scaling initiatives, or growth-stage premium brands is a plus.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience partnering effectively with Design, Planning, Sales, Ecommerce, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience working with PLM systems and digital product development platforms is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted merchandising tools and a curiosity for emerging technologies is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working within a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work full-time from our Miami headquarters.

What Success Looks Like in the First 12–18 Months

  • Support the continued expansion of resortwear and lifestyle categories.
  • Contribute to improving sell-through and reducing underperforming SKUs through enhanced assortment architecture and category management.
  • Help strengthen gross margins through pricing initiatives, inventory discipline, and improved assortment balance.
  • Implement more robust merchandising processes, analytical capabilities, and product development tools.
  • Establish a strong partnership with Design and senior leadership to support a more sophisticated product organization.
  • Play a meaningful role in supporting the long-term growth objectives of the business.
