What are we looking for
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Operations & Supply Chain division. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end supply chain management, optimize operational workflows, and play a key role in scaling Salty’s operations for national and international expansion.

You should have a knack for data – You should be comfortable using different tools to understand different inventory trends and optimsation opportunities

What are your responsibilities?
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement operations and supply chain strategies to support business growth and expansion.
Align operational goals with the company’s vision, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.
Supply Chain Management:
Oversee procurement, inventory management, vendor relationships, and logistics.
Ensure timely sourcing, processing, and delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.
Build strong partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
Operations Excellence:
Optimize warehouse and distribution processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement best practices for order fulfillment, inventory control, and quality assurance.
Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination between different departments.
Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across supply chain, logistics, and operations functions.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Technology & Process Improvement:
Leverage technology to streamline operations, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance supply chain visibility.
Identify gaps and implement process improvements for better efficiency and scalability.
Cost & Budget Management:
Manage operational budgets, optimize costs, and improve margins without compromising quality.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and operations, developing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Experience:8+ years of progressive experience in operations and supply chain management, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
Proven track record of scaling operations and supply chains in high-growth environments.
Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management.
Experience with ERP systems, supply chain software, and data analytics tools.
Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
