Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Production, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Head of Production will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, including planning and managing workflows to meet deadlines and quality standards. Key responsibilities include optimizing production processes, managing costs, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. The role also involves leading and mentoring production teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring projects align with company objectives while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Production Planning and Production Management to oversee all stages of manufacturing efficiently.
- Proficiency in Operations Management to ensure streamlined production processes and resource optimization.
- Experience in Team Management, including the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across teams.
- Strong skills in Budgeting to manage and optimize production costs while ensuring profitability.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in the jewelry or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
