Job Purpose:

Project

To lead and ensure full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor/major initiatives simultaneously in retail store fit-outs, retail store renovations, store closures and retail / office relocation projects across the retail portfolio as well as the organization Divisional Office, delivering the highest possible standards by adhering to cost and time efficiency.

Facilities Management

To lead and ensure full maintenance life cycle ownership: successful delivery include full facilities manage / coordinate retail store preventive maintenance, retail store ad-hoc breakdown services, including retail vendors (shop in shop) / office reconfiguration across the retail portfolio as well as the organization Divisional Office, delivering the highest possible standards by adhering to cost and time efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Management

Ensure project manager advise brand on CAPEX required for new projects, on receipt of CAPEX confirmation allocate, manage and monitor CAPEX spend by item ensuring budgetary control and delivery of project within given CAPEX.

Prepare the Master Project Schedule and kick off meeting conducted with project team and all Stakeholders, following this a weekly update meeting to be held with project team and all stakeholders to update on progress and timelines of projects.

Identify and assist in prequalifying suitable contractors for retail fit out execution within the region.

Able to manage the process and ensure all relevant documentation and due diligence completed.

Liaise with Landlords / Local Authorities / Professional Consultants and manage Contractors so that all parties’ approvals to start work are in place.

Chair weekly site progress meetings with appointed contractor and all other relevant stakeholders, ensuring that all projects are coordinated on site to deliver within the pre-scheduled time frames, costs and quality standards.

Coordinate / Deliver As-Built Drawings & Operational Manuals post Opening.

Consolidate Project information on project completion into Post Implementation Pack.

Ensure that all close out documents and final invoices are cleared for each completed project.

2. Facilities Management

Identify any roadblocks to maintenance deliveries, risk manage and resolve with the relevant internal & external stake holders.

Coordinate activities of all internal / external teams (design, finance, logistics, landlords, etc.) to ensure that all stakeholders’ responsibilities are aligned to the maintenance timeline and successful delivery within budget.

Manage CAPEX required for existing / new maintenance budget. Receipt of CAPEX confirmation allocate, monitor CAPEX spend by item ensuring budgetary control and delivery of maintenance services within given CAPEX.

Ensure stock inventory is updated on regular basis.

Identify in prequalifying suitable contractors / service providers for retail maintenance execution within the region and the standards required.

Renewal process management and ensure all relevant maintenance / servicing contracts / documentation and due diligence completed.

Requirements:

Bachelor/ Master Degree of Architecture/Design, Civil Engineering or project/facilities management.

Working knowledge ofproject/facilities management, office and design software.
