The role

As the Head of Retail Experience, you are one of the key-members of the EMEA Retail team. In your role you will be responsible for the Retail Design and Activation to drive the experience, visual merchandising and activation strategy across channels and markets.

With the increased focus on retail experience and significant growth in the number of projects, product launches and campaigns, we are looking for a seasoned team leader to embed new ways of working and lead the team to deliver the retail plans.

You will be a crucial element for the regional strategy with the aim of protecting the leadership position on the market, expanding and reinforcing our presence. You’ll deliver retail projects, coordinate activation roadmap and priorities while ensuring permanent best in class retail execution at all levels, with a specific focus on beauty experience.

Due to the transformation, we are phasing, it is important you remain flexible and ready to adapt plans constantly, adjusting it according to new trends, or willing to set new ones.

As a senior leader (and reporting to the EMEA Retail Director), you will be leading by example and be proactive in transforming and improving our ways of working and processes. Clear communication with all markets and functions in the markets, with group stakeholders, will be key to measure your team’s success.

This role is Hybrid. The Head Office AMEA is situated in Amsterdam.

Objectives

In line with our Marketing strategy, together with your team, you develop the in-store customer experience and Activation plans for our retail channels.

You collaborate together with internal stakeholders to bring Retail briefs to life around new product launches and campaigns to create a seamless customer experience.

You will be the voice of EMEA, identifying commonalities across the region and sharing insights.

You will implement consumer events alongside Marketing categories; As the head of retail experience, you will lead the Retail Activation and Retail Design Team, by creating a positive work environment that is rewarding and enjoyable.

Requirements

We are looking for somebody who has probably more than 10 years in Retail marketing,

Marketing, Design and Events management in premium retail environment.

Since one the revolutionary products is a beauty product, experience in the beauty branch is a must since you will have to understand the Beauty consumer and the Beauty distribution – having worked with L’oreal, Sephora and/or Douglas a plus.
