Mode Search is partnering with a Premium Fashion Brand to find an experienced Head of Wholesale, Bags, Footwear & Accessories to drive growth and expansion across key global markets. This role is a full-time position based in Copenhagen.
This contemporary brand has expertly tailored mix of understated neutrals and distinctive pattern profiles paired with their durability and versatility delivers their timeless pieces season after season.
As Head of Wholesale, you will lead the development and implementation of a global distribution strategy, with a strong emphasis on growing our presence in premium department stores and online marketplaces.
This is a thrilling chance for a strategic, results-driven individual to take a leading role in expanding a key category within a globally renowned brand.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a global sales strategy for Bags, Shoes, and Accessories, with a strong focus on premium retail placements.
Spearhead the international launch and sales expansion of key products.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive sales growth and ensure long-term success.
Expand and oversee a robust international distribution network to grow the brand’s accessories portfolio in key global markets.
Continuously assess market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance to refine product development and sales strategies.
Work closely with marketing and branding teams to ensure alignment with global brand positioning and market presence.
Provide training and support to local sales teams and retail partners, ensuring a deep understanding of the product line, brand values, and sales approach.
Deliver comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior leadership, offering transparency into achievements, challenges, and areas for growth.
Requirements:
Minimum of three years in a senior sales leadership role within the fashion industry, specifically focusing on Bags, Shoes, and Accessories.
Proven success in managing and expanding international premium sales channels.
Established relationships with leading global retailers.
Strong ability to merge entrepreneurial vision with a commercially driven sales strategy, effectively managing distribution expansion.
Expertise in analysing market data, consumer trends, and sales performance to inform strategic decision-making and improve sales results.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms with key retail partners and manage executive-level accounts.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present and negotiate at all levels.
A collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments, including marketing and production, to ensure cohesive brand execution.
Willingness to travel frequently, including international trips to key markets and industry events.
