Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Responsible for daily HR operation which includes but not limited to assigned functions involving employee screening, new hire orientations, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) data entry, benefits administration, regulatory compliance and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Update and maintain HRIS system

Onboarding and benefit administration

Ensure that system records are accurately recorded and audited

Enter new hire information in HRIS

Update HRIS records by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.

Process Personnel Action Forms & Manager Self Service requests while assuring proper approvals

Perform background screening of employees to ensure compliance with Company policy and government regulations

Research and resolve problems with employee records in HRIS system

Ensure human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company policies and procedures

Complete miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested

Assist operational managers with questions and information requests

Communicate with management appropriately in regards to area activities and report any significant problems

Attend and participate in meetings as required

Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained

Stay well informed regarding human resource developments

Perform miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned

All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent. Preferred: college degree or additional related training

At least one year of related experience. Preferred: One or more years direct human resource experience

Experience with HRIS — ADP Enterprise preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Basic understanding of human resource concepts, and regulations

Understanding of human resource reporting and recordkeeping requirements

Well organized, accurate and attentive to detail

Excellent communication, interpersonal and public relations skills

Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
