One of our major fashion clients is looking for a Payroll & HRIS Assistant. They are looking for someone to start ASAP. This role is based in NYC and is on a hybrid schedule – 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Cannot be fully remote. This is an ongoing freelance role through the end of the year with possible extension/possibility to become permanent if all goes well. Role pays $25-$28/hour, based on years of experience. 40/hours a week. Looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in payroll. Will be supporting with data entry, processing employee changes and hirings, etc.

Job Summary/Purposes

The HRIS &Payroll Assistant provides Payroll & HRIS support, data input, and payroll administration, for Prada USA, Canada, and Hawaii. This role plays a key role in optimizing human resource technology while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in employee records, job data and organizational structures.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the SuccessFactors/ADP including new hires, terminations, promotions and pay changes.
  • Provide support and training to teams and store managers on HRIS functions.
  • Work with store managers, and employees to resolve missing or incorrect time entries.
  • Monitor HRIS & Payroll inbox and respond to all manager and employee inquiries.
  • Support payroll by answering questions and requests.
  • Review and process timesheets.
  • Conduct audits of HRIS periodically to ensure data integrity
  • Assist with annual bonus and merit increase processes and salary survey input.
  • Special projects as assigned

Required Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years related work experience
  • Strong verbal/ written and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong and Accurate Data entry skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms
