About The Role

Title Nine is looking for an Image Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this Image Specialist will handle high-volume digital image processing while helping maintain efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate brings a strong artistic eye for presets and color treatments, sharp time management, and clear communication skills, along with the ability to take and execute art direction.

This is a full-time position, based in our Emeryville, CA office, Monday–Thursday, with the option to work remotely on non-critical Fridays.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Elevate and execute the Title Nine brand aesthetic consistently across all channels.
  • Retouch and deliver photo assets on tight timelines while maintaining quality control standards across multiple workflows.
  • Upload/download offshore production assets daily to support production processes.
  • Perform high-volume post-production color corrections (6,000+ annually) and participate in color reviews with Art Directors.
  • Manage end-to-end color accuracy for print and digital images for on-time delivery.
  • Proactively identify and implement AI-enabled workflow improvements to increase speed while maintaining high-end retouching.
  • Schedule, train, and oversee freelance retouchers to meet high-volume production deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain organized file systems and workflows—including Photoshop layer structure, file naming, server organization, and SOP documentation—to streamline retouching and asset management.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (CS Suite), Lightroom plus familiarity with Gemini, Figma, and G Suite.
  • 2+ years in a fast-paced, high-quality image production environment with experience supporting both web and print; background in fashion/apparel, editorial/lifestyle, or retail brands preferred.
  • A sharp eye for color and detail, with experience matching product photography to physical and digital swatches.
  • Strong post-production expertise, including non-destructive workflows, layers, paths, lighting, textures, and nuanced AI compositing.
  • A strategic multitasker who understands the rhythm of retail, able to manage complex, multi-channel projects while keeping creative assets on deadline.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills that help remove roadblocks and ensure work is delivered on time.
