Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, culturally connected In-Store Engagement Coordinator to help transform our retail location into a vibrant, creative community hub. Reporting directly to the General Manager with a functional line to the HQ Brand Department, they will support the end-to-end execution of our in-store experiences. Working hands-on with store teams, local artisans, and HQ, they will bring to life culturally curated workshops, artist collaborations, and interactive activities—allowing our customers to experience the joy of making as much as buying. They will serve as an essential operational bridge between our global creative vision and flawless on-the-ground execution. By coordinating activation calendars, assisting with local partner outreach, and managing event logistics, they will help bring our Art & Craft program to life in a way that is globally consistent yet deeply rooted in local culture—ensuring every touchpoint elevates the Golden Goose brand and delivers an unforgettable, authentic journey to our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Calendar Management: Coordinate with the General Manager and HQ teams to schedule in-store workshops and events, ensuring activities are executed on time and aligned with global store initiatives.
- Identify & Assist Local Partners: Assist the General Manager and the HQ team in researching, reaching out to, and onboarding local artists, artisans, and community partners for unique in-store activations and special projects.
- Support Activation Ideation: Assist in brainstorming and adapting creative workshop formats so they remain engaging, locally relevant, and operationally feasible on the shop floor.
- Guide & Assist Store Teams: Provide hands-on guidance, practical toolkits, and clear instructions to store team to help them deliver consistent workshop experiences.
- Assist In-Store Storytelling: Collaborate in creating the best Golden Goose narrative in-store and ensure workshop zones and materials are correctly set up and presented, supporting the store team in sharing the Golden Goose narrative with customers.
- Facilitate Team Briefings: Following the General Manager and HQ team guidelines, prepare daily or weekly briefing notes and updates for the store team to keep everyone informed on upcoming activations and event schedules.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Liaise regularly with Visual Merchandising, CRM, and Store Operations to ensure operational readiness, alignment and success for all planned workshops.
- Manage the Logistics: Oversee the operational details for external partners, freelance facilitators, and consultants—handling everything from scheduling and logistics to briefings and payments.
- Manage Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels, order materials, and organize tools required for all in-store craft and customization activities, following the HQ team guidelines
- Analyze & Evolve: Monitor program performance, actively gather client feedback, and proactively recommend improvements to workshop formats and partner selections. Prepare post-event summary reports to share with the General Manager and the HQ team.
- Support VIC Activations: Assist the CRM team in sharing ideas, setting up materials, scheduling appointments, and preparing personalized details for VIC unforgettable experiences.
- Assist Content Gathering: Participate in capturing live images and video contents during in-store activations, managing eventual external partners and following brand guidelines for local digital channels and internal reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a dynamic, high-end retail, hospitality, customer service or experiential marketing and/or production environment.
- 1 year of proven experience in local event execution, community programming, or coordinating creative partnerships (lifestyle or luxury brand experience is preferred).
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; comfortable in supporting event logistics, tracking and respecting deadlines and managing daily operational schedules.
- A deep, authentic passion for craft culture, creative communities, and the creator ecosystem.
- Hands-on “maker” skills (e.g., customizing, knitting, pottery, sewing, DIY)—practical crafting experience is a major plus and highly aligned with our Co-Creation philosophy.
- Fluency in social media trends, fashion, and a strong pulse on the current cultural zeitgeist.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; you are culturally empathetic, adaptable, and a natural connector.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fully on-site role at our upcoming New York Madison Haus location.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65,000-$70,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
