Job Overview
This is a Braid Assistant role at Cypress Styles LLC. It is an on-site position located in Grapevine, TX.
Responsibilities
Prepping Hair, Parting, detangling, stretching, and sectioning hair before braiding.
Helping to start or finish braids, adding extensions, or sealing ends.
Helping clients feel comfortable, handing them mirrors, or answering basic questions.
Maintaining a Clean Workspace. Sweeping up hair, sanitizing tools, and organizing supplies.
Keeping track of time to help the lead braider stay on schedule.
Taking photo/video
Qualifications
Experience in hair braiding techniques/ Training available
Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Team player and strong communication skills
Knowledge of hair care products and trends/ Training available
Previous experience in a salon setting is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $15.53 – $16.58 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
