Black Cat is an art-forward, community-rooted barbershop with one full-time and one part-time chair available. We’re looking for creative, consistent, and experienced professionals who want to grow their own brand in a supportive, design-minded space. The ideal candidate will bring some clientele with them, and has a passion for modern masculine hairstyles and a desire to build a primarily male client base provided by the reputation and walk in/call in flow of Black Cat. We also have good traffic on our website with +130 Google reviews. Colorists accepted for monthly rate only, you provide your color and supplies. Commission rate only available to stylists and barbers that cut exclusively. Straight razor is a plus.

Rent Options:
Full-time: $915/month or 35% commission
Daily: $65/day

Barber or Cosmetology License
Independent Salon Shop License
Business License + Insurance
As an independent contractor, you’ll run your own business—set your schedule, market yourself, and retain your clients—while benefiting from Black Cat’s creative energy and loyal following.
