1. Position Overview
Sportkraft Sportswear builds custom cycling apparel through a collaborative, rider-first process. Every kit is developed from the ground up—shaped by the needs of the team, the demands of the discipline, and the identity they want to represent.
Rather than working from templates, our approach focuses on guiding teams through key decisions around fit, materials, performance requirements, and design direction. The result is apparel that reflects both how a team rides and how they want to show up on race day.
We are seeking Independent Sales Representatives who understand this process and can lead teams through it. This role is not transactional, it is consultative. You will work directly with teams to help them define, build, and execute custom apparel programs that support performance and long-term use.
2. Role Summary
This is a 1099, commission-based role centered on developing and managing custom team apparel programs.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities within cycling and endurance communities, building relationships with decision-makers, and guiding organizations through the full custom process—from initial conversations to final delivery and reorders.
Success in this role comes from understanding how teams operate, how they make purchasing decisions, and how to translate their needs into a well-structured apparel solution.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Custom Program Development: Work with teams to understand their goals, riding style, and use case to build a tailored apparel program
- Consultative Sales: Lead teams through decisions around fit, materials, construction, and overall kit direction
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within cycling clubs, race teams, collegiate programs, and endurance organizations
- Process Management: Guide clients through the full custom workflow, including needs assessment, design intake, approvals, timelines, and reorder planning
- Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships to support repeat orders and evolving team needs
- Market Presence: Represent Sportkraft at races, events, and within local cycling communities to build trust and visibility
- Reporting: Track outreach, pipeline, and sales activity through internal systems
4. What We Look For
- Strong understanding of cycling, endurance sports, or team-based environments
- Ability to communicate clearly and guide decision-making conversations
- Experience in sales, coaching, team leadership, or community-based roles (preferred)
- Established or developing network within cycling or endurance communities
- Self-driven and comfortable operating independently
5. Compensation & Structure
- 1099 Independent Contractor (commission-only)
- Compensation based on closed and fulfilled custom programs
- Flexible schedule with full control over workflow and territory
