Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate cosmetologist to join our team. As an independent stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beauty services to your clients. This includes but not limited to hair extensions, hair styling, hair coloring, hair cutting and we would love eyelash extensions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in retail sales and utilize your knowledge of retail math. If you are a talented stylist with excellent communication skills and a passion for the beauty industry, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
– Communicating well with clients on their desired service. Knowledge of the services you are providing
– Style hair for various occasions, including cuts, blowouts, and updos
– Scheduling and communicating with your own clients, management of your social media
– Engage in retail sales by recommending and selling beauty products to clients as well as having knowledge of retail math
– Keeping your station, tools, any other belongings clean and organized as well as shampoo station, breakroom, and doing laundry
Skills:
– Professional hair extension education
– Knowledgeable in hair color
– Skilled in hair color and hair cutting
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, coworkers and owner
– Strong hair styling abilities for various cuts and styles
– Experience in retail sales and knowledge of retail math
– Ability to responsibly run your own business as an independent stylist
