About Route Marketing
We are a female-founded agency taking an authentic approach to Influencer Relations, Social Media Management, and Strategy. Our dynamic team of remote creatives is spread across Los Angeles, New York, and London, and is passionate about supporting start-ups and female-led businesses in the luxury lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and wellness space. If you're a strong executor, a proactive communicator, and someone who takes pride in producing exceptional work — you'll thrive here.
The Role
The Influencer Relations Manager is a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for the influencer industry and the art of connecting the right creators with the right brands. You have a proven track record in both paid and earned influencer marketing, a wide network of talent across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and fashion, and the commercial instinct to know the difference between a vanity metric and a real result. You will own influencer strategy and management for our clients, and every partnership we build has to feel considered, on-brand, and genuinely valuable. You will work closely with the agency founder and account leads to identify, pitch, negotiate, and manage influencer relationships that move the needle.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage organic and paid influencer strategies and campaigns across Instagram and TikTok.
- Build and maintain curated influencer rosters across platforms for multiple clients
- Manage the agency's influencer database, identifying new and upcoming creators
- Proactively reach out to talent and management for placement and coverage, negotiating contracts and following up to ensure scope is met
- Brief influencers thoroughly and manage content review rounds to ensure on-brand delivery
- Stay ahead of competitor activity, platform shifts, and emerging talent — and share relevant findings with the wider team and clients
- Identify gifting and seeding opportunities and coordinate logistics with internal teams
- Report on paid campaigns and earned influencer activity against client KPIs including reach, engagement, conversions, and earned media value
- Input into wider creative campaign ideas and strategies across the agency
- Attend (virtually) relevant strategy calls and contribute to client presentations as needed
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of influencer marketing experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or luxury
- An excellent influencer network, including talent and management contacts in the US market
- Strong understanding of paid and earned influencer marketing across Instagram and TikTok
- Experience negotiating with talent, agents, and outside partners
- Comfortable managing campaigns with a wide range of objectives and KPIs
- Excellent written communication — your outreach should be as polished as our clients' feeds
- Experience with influencer tracking and management platforms (StoryClash, Grin, AspireIQ, Creator.co, or similar) desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with data and analytics to evaluate and report on campaign performance
- Experienced in client relations with the ability to adapt to different personalities and working styles
- Discreet, professional, and well-spoken with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, collaborative, and deadline-driven
- Experienced working in a remote, async team environment
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required for the right candidate
Who You Are
- A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need hand-holding
- Commercially minded – you understand what actually drives results for a brand
- Deeply embedded in creator culture and genuinely excited by it
- Someone who communicates clearly, warmly, and directly
- Detail-obsessed and deadline-driven
- Excited to grow with a boutique agency where your work truly matters
Why Route
- Work with inspiring brands across luxury, lifestyle, beauty, and fashion
- Small team where your ideas are heard and your contributions are visible
- Flexible, remote-first culture built for professionals who deliver without needing to be managed
- Founder-led agency with a high bar for quality and integrity
- Long-term partnership opportunities for the right person
