Responsibilities
As an Inspections Specialist, you will be a vital guardian of the BNTO experience. Your primary goal is to ensure excellence in every piece of inventory.
- Conduct final audit inspections according to company standards.
- Inspect garments that have passed initial inspection and are awaiting storage, ensuring they meet first-quality or market-acceptability criteria.
- Thoroughly examine garments and identify and flag defects.
- Communicate all inspection findings transparently with Inbound leadership to ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Maintain or exceed quality and productivity standards established by the department.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and professionalism in verbal and written communications.
- Utilize scanning devices for inventory management.
- Perform additional warehouse tasks as required.
- Foster a culture of teamwork through respectful interactions with colleagues.
- Uphold a safe and clean work environment.
- Assist in training new personnel and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–2 years of garment inspection experience.
- Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Knowledge of different types of stains is a plus.
- Understanding of essential apparel quality and construction, including:
- Stitching techniques
- Measurements
- Garment construction
- Ability to assess products as first quality using established criteria and tolerance ranges.
- Strong visual inspection skills, including the ability to consistently distinguish color hues and shade variations.
- Comprehensive understanding of apparel quality and construction.
- Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain acceptable attendance.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to see small details up close.
- Stand and walk throughout the work shift.
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
- Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 55 pounds.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position.
- Perform coordinated physical movements necessary for warehouse operations.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this role is $18.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience and skill set.
