At Arjay’s Window Fashions, you’ll work alongside some of the industry’s most talented professionals, installing premium automated and manual window shades, blinds, draperies, shutters, and retractable awnings in luxury residential and commercial properties throughout the greater Ventura County area.

What You’ll Do
As an Installation Technician Apprentice, you’ll support experienced technicians while learning every aspect of the trade.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with measuring, installation, and service of custom shades, blinds, draperies, shutters, and retractable awnings
- Learning installation techniques, automation systems, and product knowledge
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Receiving, labeling, inspecting, and organizing incoming products
- Tracking inventory of installation materials, tools, and supplies
- Ensuring company vehicles are clean, organized, and properly equipped
- Supporting Lead Installers on residential and commercial projects
- Maintaining a strong commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Assisting with various operational and installation tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Strong desire to build a long-term career in a skilled trade
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring tape
- Familiarity with hand tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and coachable mindset
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to professional growth
- Physically capable of climbing ladders and carrying materials
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to pass required client background checks
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication and customer service skills
