Arjay’s Window Fashions is looking to add a new Installation Technician to our growing team. We have available positions for anEntry Level Window Covering & Awning Installerwho is willing to learn a new trade, and aSenior Window Treatment & Awning Installerwho has experience within either the window treatment or retractable awning industries.
We take pride in maintaining the highest level of craftmanship and customer service. As a member of our team, you will be working with some of the most talented technicians our industry has to offer. Our Camarillo based Team focuses on the installation of both automated and manual window shades, blinds, draperies, and retractable awnings in both homes and commercial buildings throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Our work is something you will be proud to represent.
What You Will Do:
Provide measurements, installation, and service for custom-made shades, blinds, draperies, and retractable awnings.
Develop great togetherness with your supportive teammates by sharing installer tips with an eye toward continuously improving.
Be a constant ambassador of what it means to be the best at something.
Happily jump in to help and perform other duties as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
Prior general carpentry/workmanship skills from any industry. Experience performing in-home window covering or awnings installations would be a plus, but not required.
Experience working with hand tools (Drills, Saws, Etc).
Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with a team.
Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to field operations.
Ability to listen and learn – to grow and change – to receive positive feedback and improve.
Punctuality and adhering to the work schedule is critical.
Ability to pass our client’s background check.
Attention to detail, especially with paperwork.
Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people.
Valid Driver’s License.
