Your Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

Review all and identify your preferred service line

Business Services

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for medium to large businesses including companies, trusts and partnerships.

Prepare and/ or review work papers and checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness

Monitoring / reviewing / discussing with clients their compliance requirements for Income Tax, GST, Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements

Audit & Assurance (External Audit)

Request and obtain required documentation from clients in order to undertake the audit

Carry out financial, operational, and compliance audit duties such as: evaluating internal controls, applying professional audit techniques, preparing audit work papers, developing solutions, and documenting findings

Carry out audit testing to conclude whether clients’ internal controls are adequate

Ensure audit and related duties are conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of practice and

Identify significant audit issues and communicate these with the engagement leader

About your skills and experience:

Your sound financial management and technical abilities obtainedover the last 1-2 years, coupled with a highly driven and collaborative style will set you apart as an ideal candidate for this position.

You will also have obtained a tertiary qualification in Accounting / accounting-related degree in business/commerce or similar and preferably be undertaking/planning to undertake your CA/CPA qualification.

A team-player and problem-solver with a desire to learn and looking to further develop your career in a progressive, growing firm that will in turn provide opportunities for your future growth and professional development.

You must be able to work well within a team as well as the ability to confidently work independently.

You will be required to have well-developed presentation and communication skills, including an ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with others.

You will require a police check, driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
