Simkhai is searching for a talented Account Executive to represent SIMKHAI to the international markets in Asia, Australia & the Middle East. This position will nurture both existing and new wholesale clients. One of the primary roles will be to increase SIMKHAI sales turnover by maintaining, managing and building the client base with a view to long-term relationships founded on excellent client service. The Account Executive will work in close collaboration with the US Sales team, VP of Sales and Director of Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

-Responsible for maintaining and growing both new and existing women’s wholesale accounts in the given territory across RTW, Accessories and Swim divisions.

-Perform weekly, monthly and end of season sales analysis, with comprehensive financial

understanding of the business.

-Drive in season business through reorder replenishment and proactively identifying sales

opportunities.

-Travel and spend regular time in stores to provide product knowledge clinics, selling events

and to gain a clear overview of the business potential per market.

-Target new business, analyze brand adjacency and positioning, and survey the general market

for additional wholesale opportunities.

-Explore franchise and licensing agreements in Asia to break into the market.

-Responsible for preparing for market and selling the collections in New York, Paris (up to four

times per year). Regional markets will be layered in where applicable to the business.

-Responsible for entering and reviewing orders ensuring strong classification coverage and

brand representation per door.

-Provide collection recaps after sales campaigns addressing collection strengths and

opportunities.

-Negotiate terms and financial agreements with respective accounts.

-Maintain the highest degree of client service; serve as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

-Must have a minimum 3 years of related professional experience in the contemporary or luxury market

-Must have previous international sales experience

-Must have prior fashion industry experience

-Must have Bachelors degree from an accredited university

-Must have strong demonstrated financial acumen, analytics skills and knowledge of retail math.

-Must have engaging verbal/communication and presentation skills

-Must be able to travel by road and air, overnight stays and weekend work when needed.
