Role Purpose
Lead international sourcing for Fashion Softline, driving high-margin opportunities, product competitiveness, and fast go-to-market across multiple sourcing models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, margin targets, and seasonal plans
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard international vendors (with strong focus on China & Asia markets)
- Build and develop product opportunities with suppliers (OEM/ODM), ensuring commercial and technical feasibility
- Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations (cost, MOQ, payment terms, lead time, return terms)
- Manage full sourcing cycle, including PO issuance, production tracking, and delivery coordination
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, QA/QC, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor sourcing performance (cost efficiency, lead time, hit rate) and drive continuous improvement
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and sourcing innovations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing / Buying / Merchandising (Fashion / Softline)
- Proven track record working with international suppliers, especially in China/Asia
- Strong negotiation skills with solid commercial and analytical mindset
- Experience in product development (apparel or softline) is highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment
- Fluent English; Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage.
