Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION – INTERNATIONAL TRAINING MANAGER (part-time on a freelance basis)
Duties
- Deliver national and international training toourspa and retail partners, including distributors and direct accounts.
- Execution ofinitialand refresher training for brand philosophy, product knowledge, face, massage and body treatments and retailing skillsin persononsiteand/or online.
- Increase brand awareness andsalesthroughtheplanning and execution ofeventsin both ourUK and international accounts.
- Carry outtreatmentsfor prospect accounts as per the needs ofthesalesdepartment.
- Carry outpress treatmentsasrequired.
- Execute Social ‘Lives’ and product videos together withmarketingdepartmentand Head of Education.
Responsibilities
- Maintain brand integrity by delivering online andonsite trainings in line withbrand guidelines andour spa partners’ treatment menu.
- Workcloselywith Head of Education and account managers to scheduletrainingcourses to meet the needs of the business.
- Create a detailed training plan/agenda for each training session and ensure certificates are issued and relevant training records are completed aftereachtraining.
- Ensure accounts haveallrequiredtrainingmaterials,product and equipment ahead of the training.
- Book all travel arrangements, accommodation and visasasneeded.
- Update allpartnerswith new product/treatment launches andregularproduct knowledge/retailing techniques.
- Build relationships with spa managers/directors to keep training and event communication open.
Requirements
- Strong passion for the spa andbeauty industry, ideally with experience of or an interest in holistic therapies.
- Minimum
NVQlevel 3or equivalent
Beauty Therapy qualification(face,bodyand massage treatments).
- Previous training experience desirable and/or experience as a head therapist, in-housetraineror spa manager in a luxury spa environment.
- Willingness to traveland stay away from homeon aregularbasisthroughout the UK and overseas, including short,mediumand long-haul destinations.
- Flexible working days-able to workthe occasionalweekendif needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsandproficiencyin Word,Powerpoint and Excel
