Role Description The International Trunk Shows Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for commercial planning, developing and executing a portfolio of international trunk shows, ensuring each activation delivers against its revenue target, client acquisition objectives and Knatchbull brand standards.
This is a highly commercial and client-focused role, combining market development, appointment generation and relationship building with the end-to-end management of each trunk show. The successful candidate will take ownership of designated markets, developing strong appointment pipelines through existing clients, new prospects, hosts, partners and local networks.
Working closely with the Private Client, Tailoring, Operations and Marketing teams, the Trunk Show Manager will ensure every activation is commercially prepared, seamlessly executed and followed through, from initial market planning and client outreach through to appointments, sales, order handover and post-event performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Own designated international trunk shows end-to-end, from initial commercial planning through to post-event reporting and follow-up.
- Build the commercial plan for each market, including revenue targets, appointment requirements and client acquisition strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong appointment pipelines in partnership with Private Client Managers, hosts, partners and local networks.
- Identify and cultivate new prospects, hosts and market opportunities to grow Knatchbull’s client base internationally.
- Drive appointment-booking activity and ensure sufficient pipeline exists to deliver against each event’s target.
- Coordinate the travelling team and ensure everyone understands the commercial objectives, client priorities and responsibilities for each activation.
- Partner with Operations on travel, stock, shipping, venues, equipment and event logistics.
- Partner with Marketing and PR on invitations, client communications, local amplification and supporting collateral.
- Ensure Tailoring and client-facing teams receive appropriate client information and appointment preparation ahead of each trunk show.
- Monitor commercial performance daily during each activation, including appointments, conversion, RTW/MTM mix and sales versus target, taking action where required to maximise revenue
- Ensure orders, client information and required follow-ups are accurately captured and handed over following each activation.
- Produce post-trunk-show reporting covering commercial performance, client acquisition, conversion, learnings and future opportunities.
- Maintain the forward trunk show calendar and contribute to decisions around future markets, venues, partners and investment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in luxury fashion, high-end retail, private client, business development or a similarly commercial client-facing environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable ability to work towards and deliver revenue targets.
- Experience developing client or prospect pipelines and converting opportunities into appointments and sales.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to develop relationships with clients, hosts, partners and local networks.
- Excellent project-management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple international activations simultaneously.
- Highly proactive and comfortable taking ownership, identifying opportunities and responding quickly when performance is behind plan.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with CRM, client data and commercial reporting.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally regularly as required by the trunk show calendar.
- Experience within luxury womenswear, tailoring or Made-to-Measure is advantageous.
