Small size company based in NY is looking for an Intimate Apparel designer with minimum of 4 years of experience in Intimate Apparel and Sleepwear
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Design collections and a large variety of original lingerie products including basic bras , bra sets, panties, shapewear, bodysuits, bustiers, chemises, and babydolls, for regular and plus size customers for numerous accounts .
Be responsible for the entire product life cycle from concept to production providing all necessary technical information.
Work closely with the production team bringing together the preparation of technical packages including all measurements, illustrations, flat sketches, fabric descriptions, construction details, sewing instructions, trim allocation, and color components in order to produce a successful product.
Work on fit and size set approvals to ensure all garments fit perfectly and are graded properly.
Communicate daily with overseas production offices to ensure every detail was understood.
Find solutions when there is an issue that requires modification.
Provide sales team with all kinds of presentations for customers.
Qualifications:
Degree in Fashion Design.
Proficient in Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Excel.
Must be able to do cads in a timely manner
Energetic, dependable, self -motivated, team-player, highly organized, detail oriented, great follow-up skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
