Our fashion client is seeking a TEMP TO HIRE Retail Inventory Control Manager to join their team in Anaheim! This will be a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily resolution of sales audit exceptions and inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory movements, transfers, receiving, and shipping to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Process and approve inventory adjustments, returns, and stock corrections.
- Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Retail Operations, Distribution Centers, and vendors to resolve inventory issues.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
- Coordinate and oversee physical inventories, audits, reconciliations, and inventory reporting.
- Prepare month-end inventory journal entries and reconcile inventory between retail systems and the general ledger.
- Develop, maintain, and train teams on inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Analyze inventory performance, identify process improvements, and strengthen internal controls.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by investigating shrinkage and implementing inventory accuracy programs.
