We are looking for an Inventory Planner to join our team and manage inventory levels efficiently. The role focuses on ensuring product availability without interruption while balancing cost optimization and minimizing overstock or stock shortages, supporting overall operational efficiency and supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze demand data and sales history to forecast future inventory requirements.
- Develop replenishment plans based on consumption rates and lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure they remain within optimal thresholds.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure material and product availability.
- Minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Ensure inventory records accuracy and perform adjustments when required.
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory performance, including turnover rate and service level KPIs.
- Improve inventory planning and storage strategies to reduce operational costs.
- Participate in periodic and annual inventory counts.
- Support supply and planning activities by providing data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory planning or logistics planning.
- Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts (EOQ, Safety Stock, Demand Planning).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills.
