Job Summary
This position requires a wide variety of jewelry making skills, including a proficient working knowledge of platinum and gold. The jeweler must have excellent soldering skills and experience with both Laser Welder and Tacking-machine.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Cleaning castings
- Fabricating handmade settings
- Assembling modeled jewelry pieces
- Soldering with platinum and gold
- Using the laser welder
- Doing stock and client requests such as repairs, ring sizes, chain adjustment, and metal repairs for porosity and cracks etc
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 10 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing
- Good communication skills
- Must be highly motivated
