About the Brand
Stia Couture Brands is a New Jersey–based fashion jewelry brand focused on developing trend-driven and unique products. The company has an umbrella of 9 national jewelry brands.
We work directly with factories and partners to manage the full process from concept → design → sampling → production.
About This Role
This position is multifaceted role that will evolve daily.
It is for a merchant-minded creative candidate; an individual that is seasoned in product development, design, and merchandising.
We are looking for a designer/merchandiser who has an excitement and experience developing products, working directly with factories, and bringing designs to market.
A portfolio submission is most ideal!
Key Responsibilities
In tandem and partnership with the CEO plan and design fashion jewelry collections
Work directly with factories to develop and revise samples
Manage the full order development process from design to production approval
Conduct continuous fashion jewelry market and trend research
In partnership with cad artist create production-ready design files, tech packs, and visual references
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in fashion jewelry design & development
Proven experience in product planning, design, and factory-based development
Hands-on experience managing samples and orders with factories
Ideal to have proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related design tools
Strong sense of trends, color, materials, and market direction
Ideal Candidate
Thinks about design and merchandising. Enjoys trend research and market analysis
Has a strong eye for color, materials, and current fashion trends
Balances creativity with commercial viability
