Title:Junior Graphic Designer
Reports to:Senior Graphic Designer
Job ScopeThis role is a vital part of the team and responsible for designing and creating graphics and prints across a variety of brand initiatives for Fashion and Sports. This includes, placed graphics, all-over prints for textiles, as well as graphic and print developments for trims and assorted brand collateral.
This is an Entry Level / Junior role
Working TasksDesign and creation of the Mens and Womens graphics and prints across a variety of brand initiatives.
Designing to a creative brief set by the head of design.
Create sketches, final art and technical files for graphic assets
Design to a range plan based on the ‘good, better, best’ principle.
Evaluation of prototypes and pre-production samples for print and trims
Work closely with the product development team to ensure handover material is correct and up to date.
Take an active role in presentations and overview creation for the collection.
Support the design team across creative projects, from concept to completion
Support Senior graphic designer with research and conceptualizing of print and graphic concepts creating moodboards and sketches for presentations

Required ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of professional experience preferably in the fashion or design industry
Market experience – good understanding of sports fashion market. Able to identify best sellers, pinpoint emerging trends, design the collections into price architecture with a good, better, best principle.
Concept – Candidate should be able to interpret a design brief into the fashion and sport categories, sourcing and prototyping into the given direction.
Work closely with other members of the sport and fashion design teams creating and developing seasonal collections, graphic and print designs from concept to final product.
Qualifications1-2 years industry experience
Relevant BA university degree or equivalent
A strong graphic design or print portfolio, demonstrating solid graphic design, typography and/or print knowledge
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign
Good sense of design and excellent brand knowledge
Multi-tasker that can respond to changes quickly and prioritise workload effectively while meeting deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English
Self-directed, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a brand and team.
Experience working within brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand look and feel across all media.
