ROLE OVERVIEW

Strategic support of the business within Premium Retailers with the goal of establishing ghd as the market leader in sales and service. This person will support the identification, development, and execution of strategies to deliver key volume drivers for ghd within the retail environment. The ideal candidate will be expected to assist in the strategic vision and the tactical implementation. The role will work closely with our internal teams including sales, finance, and marketing and will have direct selling & account management responsibilities.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Customer Account Development – Identifies and develops a plan of growth and expansion

within assigned channel for existing retail business to increase market share and new

partnerships.

· Manage and aide in tactical and administrative activities to support business.

· Development and execution of presentations at strategic specialty retailers for the selected

portfolio of products.

· Lead the strategy, tactics, and execution in all activities for assigned accounts.

· Management of short & long-term business results, including innovative changes aimed at

broad financial impact.

· Delivering upon volume, share and ROI targets.

· Driving distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion support to optimize spend.

· Identification and activation of fact-based sales opportunities.

· Accurately forecast the business and proactively alerting HQ of major shifts in the business.

· Managing promotional funds to effectively drive the business.

· P&L support.

· QBR presentation support.

· Comfortable with analytics & insights-based selling.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· 3+ years’ experience managing a national beauty retail account, required.

· Ulta/Sephora/Nordstrom preferred.

· Cosmetology license / salon industry experience / beauty background preferred.

· Experience prospecting and closing new business preferred

· High level of analytical capability, organization, time management & attention to detail

· Forecasting, business planning, trade spend management.

· Knowledge of/experience with syndicated data, planogram analysis, marketing concepts

· Experience managing buyer/merchant relationships

· Customer & team centric approach

· Passionate about the industry and self-motivated

· Highly developed communication and presentation skills

· Bachelor’s Degree
