Key Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities: The job of a Junior Buyer is to provide buying assistance and support to the Buying Team. This person will support the team to maintain and add to our product assortment, set pricing and order inventory based on the guidelines established by the Buyer. This position is to function as part of a team and be flexible to help grow the business.

Your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

Style Imports/PO Creation – order new items through creating an item description, price, bar code, and style quantity

Core Replenishment Management – continual replenishment on constant core items

DC Troubleshooting – handle vendor issues, human error, mislabeling, different styles, problem solving

PO Close Management – manage aging purchase orders, check on status with vendors, clean-up process

Assist with Logo/Uniform Order Management

Required Skills:

Strong communication skills

  • Self directed, ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Well organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks
  • Previous experience buying merchandise for a retail environment, a plus
  • A passion for making meaningful connections with people (vendors, customers, team)
  • A basic understanding of retail financial metrics
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Robust knowledge and ability to manage and manipulate large data with Microsoft Excel, and Access
  • Process improvement skills are highly desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
