Junior Buyer – Underwear/ Lingerie
Location: Munich, Germany; Berlin, Germany; London, England; remote, Germany; remote, England; remote, France; remote, Italy
As a Junior Buyer in our Underwear category, you’re part of a small but dynamic team. You are responsible for branded buying in control of a sizable portfolio of brands, working together with our Senior Buyer and Planner in creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion. This role would suit someone who is already an established Assistant Buyer looking for the next step up or an established Junior Buyer looking for a new challenge.
Your responsibilities:
Independently manage a wide portfolio of brands;
Operational purchasing of defined brands/areas internationally;
Owning brand and division development in line with our strategy, including brand acquisition;
Create strong supplier relationships;
Track and review weekly & monthly financials, identifying necessary actions to achieve KPIs & set strategy;
OTB management;
Supporting the entire order process & providing support to our assistants;
Open to frequent travel & regularly attending trade fairs;
Compile regular competitive analysis;
Strong stakeholder management across cross category teams such as campaigns/marketing;
About you:
A degree in business administration or comparable business training.
2+ years‘ of professional experience in operational international purchasing in the home/fashion sector preferable in Underwear or Beachwear.
Confidence, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously, be results-oriented and be able to think “out of the box”.
Ability to think and act entrepreneurially, analytically and strategically.
An exceptionally high willingness to travel.
Experience in negotiation.
Report preparation and analysis skills.
Data analysis and numeracy skills.
Proficient in the use of Excel.
Fluent written and spoken business English.
