Role Overview
Le Chameau is seeking a talented Junior Designer to join our Brand and Marketing team. This role is initially offered as a one-month freelance contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on performance. As a Junior Designer, you will assist in creating compelling visual content for our digital campaigns and support the marketing and retail teams with various design needs.
What You Will Be Doing
Create and deliver high-quality artwork for the website, social media, email campaigns, digital campaigns, paid advertising, blogs, and e-commerce materials.
Choose appropriate images that align with the brand’s aesthetic and campaign goals.
Apply strong skills in typography and composition to produce visually appealing designs.
Translate marketing messages into engaging and cohesive visual content.
Assist the marketing and retail teams with ad-hoc design needs, ensuring consistency with Le Chameau’s brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the Senior Creative and other team members to ensure designs meet project briefs and deadlines.
Incorporate feedback from the Senior Creative and other stakeholders to refine designs.
Demonstrate a keen sense of composition, typographic nuance, and visual articulation suitable for a fashion/lifestyle brand.
Support campaign and product launch creative ideation with the creative and marketing team.
What We Need From You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a digital marketing, social-first, or e-commerce environment.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong sense of image selection, typography, and composition.
A portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, including digital campaigns, showcasing creative ideas and technical skills.
Keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
