We are a women’s apparel wholesale company located in Vernon, California, and we are looking for a motivated Junior Fashion Designer to join our growing team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the garment/apparel industry required
- Experience in women’s apparel is preferred
- Fashion Design degree or certificate from a recognized design school
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to create accurate flat sketches (technical flats)
- Assist with the design and development of women’s apparel collections
- Work closely with the production and merchandising teams
- Prepare artwork and design presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of textiles used in industrial fashion design processes and garment construction techniques.
- Familiarity with color theory principles and vector illustration tools for creating compelling graphics.
