Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Hair Stylist to join my Salon. As a Junior Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while developing your skills in a supportive environment. You will assist in delivering a range of hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments, while ensuring a positive experience for every client.
Responsibilities
Assist in Hair care services as needed to enhance the overall client experience.
Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools to adhere to health and safety standards.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Upsell salon products and services by utilizing retail math skills to inform clients about benefits.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling .
Experience
A valid cosmetology license is required. Or student at Cosmetology School.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with retail sales practices and the ability to effectively communicate product benefits is advantageous.
Knowledge of sanitation practices within the beauty industry is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
