Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Junior Merchandiser at SAKU located in Gurugram.
The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for various tasks including inventory management, product selection & development, visual merchandising, customer service, and sales support.
Additionally, the Junior Merchandiser will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of SAKU’s merchandising strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of various fabrics, trims and accessories and their suppliers
Knowledge of both weave and knits is a plus
Knowledge of inventory management
Demonstrated buying experience
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service mindset
Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Relevant degree or certification in Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field
