Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Merchandiser located in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to merchandising such as creating product assortments, inventory management, planning, and analysis. Additionally, the Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring product availability, negotiating with suppliers, and forecasting sales.Other tasks involve as given below
• Merchandise selection
• Category Management.
• Ensuring profitable growth for the categorie
• Inventory Control.
• Sourcing, Buying,
• Job involves extensive traveling
Qualifications
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
Knowledge of Sales and Retail
Understanding of Marketing principles
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
Familiarity with Indian Khadi products and handcrafted textiles is desirable
