POSITION SUMMARY:
The Junior Producer is responsible for managing the logistics of photo shoots and ensuring that all details are considered and on schedule for a successful shoot. This role also negotiates with outside vendors to ensure that FULLBEAUTY Brands is acquiring the best possible rates for the highest quality talent.
The Junior Producer reports to the Senior Producer and will own the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production. This individual should be solution-oriented, detailed, hardworking, analytical, manage budgets and have great communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Production and Creative teams to conceptualize and prepare for upcoming shoots.
Cast, negotiate and book models for all photography, video and special projects.
Consistently source talent that meets our brand standards. This includes keeping the model pool current by holding regular casting sessions. Partner with the Senior Producer to organize and schedule model “go-see” appointments.
Source models, photographers, stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists for shoots.
Negotiate contracts and manage photo shoots and department budgets in partnership with the Senior Producer. This includes the creation and tracking purchase orders.
Adeptly manage shoots from start to finish- including budgeting, timelines, vendor organization, contract negotiations, on-set production, etc.
Work cross functionally with creative, styling and post teams, and clearly communicate out all shoot related info/needs
Manage budgets for photoshoots ensuring efficient negotiations and adherence to budget constraints. Process and reconcile all shoot related invoices, corporate card monthly expenses, track actual billing and budget estimates.
Work closely with creative teams to curate desired shoot teams and casting
Assist with postproduction schedules and timelines for all shoots
Keep on top of fluctuating shoot schedules and maintain open communication with any schedule changes with teams.
Work closely with the Production and Creative team to find the best and most brand-appropriate outside vendors.
Manage post shoot reconciliation, uploading details to project worksheet, track shot counts during the photo shoot, and all shoot details.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of experience
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective interaction with all levels of company management, personnel, and outside vendors
Budget and schedule management experience needed.
Production experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
