POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is directly responsible to the Salon Manager/Guest Service Manager/Guest Service Team for maintaining a clean salon environment and providing quality service in hair care as requested.
Essential Job Functions:
Present a positive and professional attitude towards the company, its products, guests and all staff at all times.
Communicate with stylists when guests arrive and keep them informed of any schedule changes.
Observe stylists during the service to listen and learn, remaining ready to offer assistance.
Support the stylist to stay on schedule by anticipating their next guest or service.
Work together with all team members to maintain a clean work environment.
Maintain sanitized tools and clean work environment following the latest guidelines provided by the City and State of New York.
Keep the entire salon clean, organized and uncluttered, including dressing rooms, restrooms, sinks, back-bar and dispensary.
Perform Scott J signature shampoo, treatments and value added service in a timely manner.
Manage that the guest experience is relaxing and enjoyable by giving them your complete attention and maintaining a quiet environment at the sink.
Support the Guest Service Team in managing inventory counts, receiving orders and restocking supplies.
Attend continuing education to stay current with the latest trends and techniques of your craft.
Manage your time to remain on schedule, communicate with the GS team for support when needed.
