Job Description
We are seeking a junior designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of beautiful designs in alignment with our brand’s requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Must be able to participate in multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Please note, this role is ongoing temporary.
Responsibilities
Creation and heavy production on digital site assets, emails and banners for marketing campaigns.
Create web-ready image assets including slicing graphics, image compression and optimization.
Effectively assist with basic design changes, such as text updates, image replacement and minor layout changes with tight deadlines.
Ensure quality assurance on creative deliverables ensuring final files are accurate and error free, including file naming and organization.
Close collaboration with the online team across various channels to ensure clear communication, proper support, project completion within deadlines.
Daily interaction with creative and copy teams to ensure content fits within the parameters of the brand’s identity.
Apply past learnings to present and future projects to improve design and interpersonal skills.
Keep an eye on the digital, social, e-com competitive arena and bring new ideas to the table.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s graphic design degree (or comparable work experience)
2-3 years of web design experience (experience in e-commerce, retail or fashion brand is a plus).
Strong understanding of typography and design elements.
High level of proficiency in of Adobe Photoshop (After Effects, Premier and Figma are strong pluses).
Ability to take direction & execute independently.
Must be self-motivated, team oriented, have a collaborative approach to creative development.
