Job Summary
Little Princess Spa® Round Rock is seeking a talented and passionate licensed Hair Stylist who love working with children. Perfect for part-timers who want to bring sparkle to life! We provide magical haircut and glam experiences in a fun, fairy-tale setting.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This is a children’s spa environment and not a traditional salon. A successful Hair Stylist will be skilled in various services, including cutting hair, braiding, styling, engaging with kids, pampering them with spa services, while also having the ability to upsell products and services.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services including first haircuts, trim, braiding, and simple updo.
Provide spa services such as mini mani, mini pedi, makeup, and facials tailored for children.
Engage with children in a playful manner while ensuring their comfort and safety during treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa area, including tools and equipment.
Communicate effectively with parents about services provided and any special requests.
Stay updated on the latest trends in children’s haircut and spa services to enhance the guest experience.
Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional services or products that enhance client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, with a portfolio showcasing previous work (preferred).
Must enjoy working with children and have previous experience working with them.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.

Pay: $23 – $35 per hour including tips
Expected hours: 8-12 hours/week
