Manager – Planning Myntra Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site) Manager – Central Planning (Inventory Optimization & Freshness) Roles & Responsibilities Inventory Strategy & Planning 1. Own end-to-end inventory planning to support category growth and profitability. 1. Lead monthly planning cycles to realign sales forecasts and intake plans. 1. Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and detailed sales planning to ensure optimal stock levels. Cross-Functional Leadership 1. Collaborate closely with Category Management, Business Finance, Category Operations, and Revenue teams. 1. Influence key merchandising decisions that shape the category P&L. 1. Drive strategic initiatives and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Merchandising & Assortment Optimization 1. Develop and execute Merchandise Financial Plans and Assortment Plans to guide buying decisions. 1. Monitor assortment health across key metrics (e.g., sell-through, stock cover, freshness) and implement corrective actions to maximize conversions. Strategic Projects & Process Improvement 1. Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing business processes and operational efficiency. 1. Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and data-driven decision-making. Qualifications & Experience 1. 4-5 Years (Graduate) or 3-4 years (Postgraduate) of buying / planning / merchandising planning experience 1. MBA/ B.Tech/ NIFT from Tier-1/Tier-2 Colleges. 1. Strong stakeholder management skills. 1. Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to make data-backed decisions. 1. Self-directed focus and ability to prioritize within an ambiguous environment.
