Job Summary:
The Lead Florist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the floral design team, crafting exceptional floral arrangements, and managing inventory. This role requires a strong balance of creative vision, hands-on execution, and leadership to maintain the highest standards of design and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the floral design team in creating arrangements for daily orders, events, and special installations.
* Design high-end, innovative, and trend-forward floral concepts aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
* Manage flower and supply inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure freshness and availability of stock.
* Oversee quality control of all arrangements leaving the shop.
* Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on campaign concepts and seasonal collections.
* Maintain organization of the floral workspace.
* Stay current with floral design trends, techniques, and products.
Requirements:
* Strong design portfolio showcasing high-end or artistic floral work.
* Deep knowledge of flowers, foliage, seasonality, and floral care.
* Excellent communication, and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Passionate, creative, and detail-oriented.
* Flexible availability, including weekends and peak holidays.
Preferred:
* Certification in floral design or related training.
* Experience in luxury floral retail or event floristry.
