Position Summary
Lead Photo Retoucher will work with digital photography. They will use photograph editing software i.e Photoshop to enhance images by correcting resolution and composition, cropping images and adjusting tone, color, saturation, and brightness. The retouching process can also consist of adding or removing objects from an image or inserting text. Photographic retoucher will work with studio team including, photographers, stylists, and merchandiser.
Responsibilities
Edit and review all e-commerce images for use on web
Facilitate communication between photographers, stylists, merchandisers and retouchers
Format and enhance all image content, crop specification guidelines.
Edit appx/. 40+ images per day
Upload imagery using internal system.
Color correct garments in photos from physical samples
Ensure visual consistency of product images.
Skills and Qualifications
BFA in Photography, Graphic Design or equivalent experience required.
Must have 5+ years of professional experience in image retouching, editing and/or photography
Must have clear understanding of proper image formatting, editing and enhancing techniques
Strong knowledge of photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop
Must have keen eye for fashion/model photography as well as still life product photography
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and efficiency
Strong sense of problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changes quickly.
