Your Opportunity:
As Leather Purchasing Associate Manager, you will be part of the Leather Purchasing Department and report to the Senior Director, Leather, Metal Accessories and Jewelry Department.
Your Contribution
Coding new materials confirmed by R&D Department
Sending prototype orders to suppliers
Sending sample orders (C) to suppliers
Sending back sample materials
Scheduling of sample quality control at tanneries
Sending reference materials received to R&D Office
Compilation of prototype and sample budget files
Sending A4 new materials for performance tests
Checking MRP for sending production orders with evaluation of possible stocks for materials and colours Carry Over
Sending colour/material references for production orders
Solicitation of material returns Samples
Approval of production colours
Prioritisation and control of returns based on key dates
Negotiation of prices and minimum purchase quantities
PP and CS input
Programming of production quality control at tanneries
Problem management
Constant support and comparison with Product Office, R&D Office, Technicians, Production Office
Checking and verifying non-conforming invoices
Sustainability, verification of certifications
Your Skills:
Years of experience: previous experience in the purchasing department preferable
Computer skills: Knowledge of the Office package (Excel). Basic knowledge of Stealth, PLM
Soft skills: Accuracy, flexibility, teamwork, energy and motivation, problem solving
Language skills: Italian, English
