Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Compensation:
Commission-based pay: 60% of each service (avg. $24–30 per cut)
Weekly guarantee available during ramp-up period
OR: Flat hourly option ($20–25/hr) depending on experience
✂About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable licensed barber to staff a government barbershop located inside the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Headquarters at Fort Belvoir. The barbershop serves military personnel and civilian staff in a professional, high-traffic setting.
This is a full-time position with consistent weekday hours and strong growth potential.
Responsibilities:
Provide haircuts, beard trims, and grooming services (including military-style cuts)
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area
Deliver excellent customer service to military and civilian personnel
Comply with base grooming standards, licensing, and health regulations
✅ Requirements:
Valid Virginia Barber License
Must pass base background check and security screening
Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
⭐ Preferred:
Experience with military grooming standards
Previous work on military bases or with Veterans
Veteran status (but not required)
