As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring that clients feel valued and pampered in a welcoming salon environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in various techniques, including hair cutting, coloring, and styling, while also engaging with clients on their beauty needs.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences.
Perform specialized techniques such as hair threading and eyelash extensions.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Utilize salon software for appointment management and client records.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance clients’ hair care routines.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and beauty treatments.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail sales is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with salon software is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
