Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
Duties
Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming treatments.
Utilize salon software to manage appointments, client records, and inventory efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
Offer personalized consultations to clients regarding hairstyles, products, and grooming techniques.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide clients with the best service possible.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on techniques and customer service best practices.
Engage in ongoing education related to cosmetology, color theory, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and other relevant skills.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and familiarity with various barbering tools and products.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience with salon software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus but not required.
A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required for this position.
