Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and extensions. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to create stunning looks for our clients.
Duties:
– Perform hair services such as cutting, styling, coloring, and extensions
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
– Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
– Sanitize and maintain salon tools and equipment
– Educate clients on proper hair care and recommend suitable products
– Utilize salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) for scheduling appointments and managing client information
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive work environment
– Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist
– Proficiency in straight razor techniques
– Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized colors for clients
– Experience with hair extensions and eyelash extensions is a plus
– Familiarity with salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) for appointment scheduling and client management
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Store management experience is an asset
