Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate stylists to join our team of creatives. As a hair stylist at Evergreen Hair House, you will play a crucial role in elevating the guest experience and creating confidence through expert hair care services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional styling, coloring, and extension services while ensuring a welcoming and luxurious salon environment.
Duties
Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services according to client preferences and current trends.
Consult with clients to understand their specific needs, goals and make professional recommendations and find solutions tailored to them.
Stay updated on the latest hair styling techniques, trends, and products to provide clients with the best service possible.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, clean up after yourself and the salon. Laundry, dishes, sweeping, etc.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products that align with clients’ needs.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong understanding of color theory/highlighting techniques/toning. etc.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their desires.
Ability to mentor others, fostering a positive learning environment within the salon.
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products and services confidently.
Hospitality skills to pamper and make our clients feel completely taken care of and refreshed by their experience at EG.
